Corning experts have created anti-reflective coating for branded protective glasses

Corning is shown at the recent Computex trade development, improving properties of the known protective glasses are widely used in mobile devices. Specialists Corning created an anti-glare coating, which can be found in serial production this year. The effect is clearly visible on the cover illustration – coating is applied to a circular section in the center of the glass parts.


The coating is applied on both sides of the glass. When combined with the lamination without air gap (Zero Air Gap) it provides a practically complete absence of reflections.

It is known that the first product that uses the protective glass Corning antiglare become convertible notebook Lenovo.
