It seems that advertisers working with the popular social site Pinterest, is now more work with the new service functions. The main innovation – is animated promotional pins.

The company offers a number of new tools and pricing options for advertisers. The most interesting features of the freshly baked – this is probably the animated pin (Promoted Pin). The developers call it Cinematic Pin, or “Cinematic Ping”, which moves only when the user squanders tape. When you stop scrolling animation stops and the picture freezes, turning into a static image.

If the user “clicks” on the bizarre Cinematic Pin, you can view the full video. This picture is set to full screen and scrolling animation, as seen in the example below is located.

Principles of the advertiser and the client company Pinterest differ from the policy chosen other social platforms. Typically, video ads are considered more effective tool to attract customers, rather than static images and is usually scrolled automatically on most popular sites and Web services.

However, the general manager for monetization Tim Kendall argues, referring to the results of a user survey Pinterest, that most people do not like the hype for the soul. That is why the company refused to automatically start video, leaving users a choice.
