Intel introduced a desktop CPU Core 7th generation

The range of Intel desktop processors for the LGA1151 platform joined the 7th generation model Core, also known under the code name Kaby Lake-S. The new family includes quad-core CPU Core i7 and Core i5, and dual-core Core i3, Pentium and Celeron.

Mainstream Intel 2017 processors are the fruit of years of evolutionary development in microarchitecture of skylake (14 nm), which was modified in order to increase CPU frequency (eg, Core i7-7700K added 200-300 MHz with respect to the Core i7-6700K ) and increase unit performance integrated graphics.
